OVERDRIVE- SOLIDGOLD Zetta Drive MKII ...a contemporary classic

$165.00 USD
 SOLIDGOLD ZETTA MKII OD
A contemporary classic. It has been around for years
and gone thru many changes with the graphics and paint even on the the MKII. Before that it was called the Super Drive.
The layout is a standard Volume, Gain and Tone.it has a switch to toggle in a bass cut. It uses JFET's so a tube like sound is a given. It is a low to mid gain pedal.
The overall sound is very American not Brit at all.
The aim was to give enough meat for a solo but allow it to be tight for any kind of rhythm guitar.
t totally shines when used for fast rhythm playing. Yes for that it is has to be better then the best.

CONCLUSION
2nd choice of colour.
It does what it does. If it is your kind of music and it's features fit
improving on the sound will be hard. A lot of us have found the thick rich Brit sound irresistible but strumming on that sound will seldom work.
The exception is the Jetter 45/10 so checkout the Post then come back and compare.

Now if this type of pedal is your thing I would check out the Keeley Sweet Spot Super Drive that was made for ....
Johnny Hiland. It is more variable and the tone is exceptional.
