Make a transparent OD (perhaps start with a Tube Screamer
OpAmp.
Then put in the EQ from a Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal.
Then "poof !!!" and just like magic ...you have 'Ned'

But does 'Ned' have a voice worth listening to???

CONCLUSION
If like me you run a board with everthing set at unity gain note that this pedal does not have a level control
I must admit it sounds OK. It is cheap enough.
Now deciding if I like it?
OK I like it.
BUT will I buy it???
mmmm? No level control ...nope :-(
