These have an underground rep and they
are handmade beautifully designed. When they first came out they were $200.00 USD Now they are at about $100,00 USD for most of their pedals which is dirt cheap.
But on sale for $50.00 USD Whoa! Yes they are going fast. I think there are handful left of these.
The Ji Si is their Brit pedal. A switch labelled modern re-voices
it to a 'Big Hair' MESA Dual Rectifier.
Three way EQ on the main channel, variable gain, a mid sweep on the boost channel from 250 kz to 4500 kz. and the usual Master volume.
CONCLUSION
It is not all about harmonic detail but if nothing else the pedal is a versatile high gain pedal that is tighter then a clenched fist and hits like a hammer. The thing has balz!!! and then more balz!!!
A great deal at full price and a steal at half price.
I couldn't resist! I bought one!!! Hell just to get that MESA Dual Rectifier tone alone is worth it!
