The company has been making amps for about 15 years.The pedals came along shortly after.
A lot of smaller amp and pedals company's do a good business regionally. A lot of players like to buy local. You can go to club in a certain State and those that surround it and find a lot of the same products.
Sometimes you can find a gem but if not that you will find something a little different.
In many ways the Joyride is a very standard OD. It does not try to sound like a Marshall or a Fender or whatever. It becomes a personal choice.
The layout is simple with volume, treble & bass and a gain. It has plenty of that gain too you can get a fairly big and gutsy sound from it.
A good Blues or Americana sound for sure
CONCLUSION
Well it has been around since 2006 without any version two etc. and is still made.
If it ain't broke don't fix it ...is what this is all about.
BUT ..I hate to be a bore about it but check out the Tech N Tone OD's first. they are on sale too. They are both killer OD's.
