OVERDRIVE-GARLAND Pink Drive ...warmest pedal ...EVER! :-)

 GARLAND PINK OVERDRIVE
$75.00 USD
On Sale
The first thing you notice right away is the look. All of Patrick Garland's pedals have a tweed covering.
Then most of them are painted. I think they look cool.

The aim was an OD for a  70's-80's sound.

The layout has the familiar Level, Gain and tone. You have a 3 way toggle switch to choose between LED and silicon diodes or blend the two. A second switch can smooth out the mids.

An OpAmp is used for the basic tone. The OpAmp is the Tube Screamer thing and like a ts you have a lot of control in the Gain by backing off your guitar's volume. The OpAmp leaks just enough of the clean signal to give you a nice clean definition to each note yet blend with the dirt seamlessly. There is a surprising variety of light and shade in the tones you can get. The fat, thick, lush and warm sound when it is pushed
can have you hooked even if like me you tend to look for a very aggressive palette.
Handmade in Houston TX.

CONCLUSION
I love the video's there is no hyped Post Production you get to actually hear the pedal.
I find the sound irresistible. The price is too. lol
It has a nice Plexi sound like you get on an early Plexi like a '68.
You could stack this with an aggressive OD or even a Fuzz with I expect spectacular results.
I think that alone could make this a valuable asset.

One last thing. You get to choose the colour. there are 6
Tweed ones and a custom option as well.
