The company tells you nothing about the pedal. LOL OK maybe not anything ..It says you can have 8 choices of colour!

It is a mid to high gain pedal that keeping the gain low and the boost up can also give you some very, very good just below breakup clean sounds.
The layout is a bit different. It has 3 way EQ Boost, Volume and Drive. It has as switch for both Post and Pre EQ Another switch lets you toggle between two levels of overdrive. I find the second seems to boost the upper mids.
The Post EQ allows you to shape the fully distorted signal. A very good feature.
Both the drive can be used together or independently. It can givea very nice poke to your clean sound and it to can be pre or post EQ.

It is not your modern Amp-in-a-Box so you do not get what to my mind is that classic fixed but very, very appealing sound. It falls somewhere between a American sounding amp and a Fuzz.
I have a couple. I find without that Marshall prejudice choosing this kind of pedal is simply subjective. Perhaps it is at least an honest choice. LOL
