But it has a lot of extras. It lets you get at the bias so you can add
splutter and growl and it gives you a deep low end boost so you
can create a killer massive sound.
KHDK make excellent pedals but you pay for it. But at $175.00 USD this pedal is very competitive.
CONCLUSION
What's not to like? Well it it simply is what it is. A very good and versatile fuzz.
BUT you can buy a great sounding Fuzz like the Azur for $20.00 USD w/ free shipping. Now this Fuzz offers a lot more and it is reasonably priced. The Azur gives you one basic but great sound but that one sound is as pro sounding as the KHDK. A Fuzz Face only has about 7 parts in it. So a Fuzz circuit with a great sound does not have to too pricey to sound good.
I use 25 OD's but only two Fuzz pedals and one indeed is the Azur. I am at heart an OD guy
but if you are a Fuzz guy the Scuzz Box is well worth checking out!
