Well I was convinced! It really is as accurate as humanly possible of a real Klon!
For one thing the guy got into doing Klons early and owns at least 3 original's.
The original has a gossamer airy translucent sound that other knock off's loose. I have had to compare at least 10 of the best doing SBS over the years so I am willing to quite literally take a bet what sounds like a Klon. The standard model comes in black but it also comes in white, blue and lilac. The packaging was designed for royalty. lol
You can get the Decibelic Klon in two other sizes one of which is in the original casing. I do love the white mini.
I have come to believe after using the Tumnus for a year that it is dispensable. Yes simply not necessary but in fact misses the point!
The original was designed from day one to push a Fender Twin Reverb into crunch and I have some 70 pedals that insist on being set at unity gain to work together. The Klon was never meant to run at unity gain.
But if you have a passion for a Klon you can't do better!
