A Canadian company with always a twist in the pedals

they release has taken the recent trend towards looking

for new sounds by converting now defunct analog tech

used for film or broadcast.
The layout is simple Boost and Gain. An internal switch tightens the sound.
CONCLUSION___

Oddly enough it has a very cranked Fender

Twin with the bright switch on vibe. It could

be magic on a dark amp. It may even be

deadly as an always on pedal. Impressive,

very impressive.

As the builder put it there are dozens of clones and all took a
different take on the Interfax Harmonic Percolator. Basically
the original was a guy that loved both Germanium and silicon
sounds so he made a pedal that had both blended into one
sound. You get the rich gtiy of the germanium but the cut &
definition of the silicon. The layout is simple just Volume
and Gain

CONCLUSION __

Others add features that move it into being a
different sound. This sticks close to the original

one trick pony but an impressive one, 😇.

OEM spec for Chinese manufacturers who have for

years had to buy Korean.
NOTE: When you buy an Asian made guitar that
features Duncan PU's those PU's are made in Korea
unless they say right in the promotion they are made
in the U.S.
They make the parts used in the many new companies making guitars under $500 but spec and play like guitars that only 5 years ago would be $1200. They have now

turned to making pedals.

CONCLUSION ___

Yes it is a bit of wait and see but the first pedal the FLEOR FAP-FZ Boost Fuzz is a '69 Silicon spec with an added Boost is a welcome addition to the 'new affordables'

in a time when overnight all music gear has on average

increase as much as 30%.

This is a stab into the BOSS Chorus territory. If you wanted

EH they have several classics still available. in short they

know a nice share of the market comes from cloning anything

the competition does and if they sell it cheaper then we all come running, lol.
E-H do not make pedals in the U.S. they assemble them. They

come in a simple kit form from China to NYC. Then the finished

board is popped in, a few nuts and screws fasten it together,

then tested and boxed. The real secret is in plain site. They have

very creative designers that are allowed to not have to dumb

down the design to meet a price point.

CONCLUSION __

It does a lot but Chorus and Vibrato work off
modulating in and out of pitch and some videos
I heard were unlistenable from this unit with
their sea-sick tones. That said the pedal has
been dropped in price so it a lot for a little.
