The layout is Bass, Mids and Treble. A toggle lets you switch for using as a stand alone Preamp or going through the frontend of your amp. Another control is for Bright and still another is for Contour and it reshapes the Treble control. A smaller knob controls Depth and another adds Presence. It seems more complex than it is but the video is easy to follow.
CONCLUSION ___
It is definitely one size fits all simply because if it is in your head there is knob or more to find it in the pedal. If your music and/or gear changes over the years this can dial in that change.
