SOLIDGOLD SURF RIDER IV

This is the fourth version. The others were big pedals and even at that the bigger enclosures had different functions, one even had an OD built in. This one adds vibrato and a choice of 3 voices to imitate different verb tanks. The results are you can actually get some serious springy wobble but have a more conventional Fender Super Reverb too.

CONCLUSION

I am not a fan of Spring verbs. I prefer a 'plate' and lately I like a good Hall verb if it not heavy on the low reflections. By judging for what it is instead of what it isn't you seem to get a great pro sound at a reasonable price.
