Yes, not even the label on the pedal makes sense. Calling 

your brand Origin Effects is illegal but not the pedals name. 

In other words I can make a Mr. Jones Pedal and call it the Boss Fuzz.

Lyr are a Chinese company making what the clothing industry calls a counterfeit but in electronics is a 'clone'. 

Most clones in the past were different circuits and parts than the real ones but voiced to sound similar. 

The new 'gourmet' clones are indeed near exact parts. 

This is a clone of a $350.00 USD Origin Cali76 (Stacked Ed.) which is the yardstick 'ALL' comps are compared to.

A few LYR pedals have reviews this does not.

CONCLUSION

The good news is it is quite likely in the ballpark sound wise and for the price anything else is not going to be better.
