pass filter to smooth or add a little more edge to the basic
tone. A toggle gives you his 70's sound and the tones
he started using in the 90's.
CONCLUSION ___Unlike many attempts by makers
to capture a players tone I have
never heard better.

ReplyDeleteHmmm, I don't know about that. My old Mesa Boogie MkIIC+ could do the mid-70s sound, Europa, etc. Pick a note and it would sustain forever, etc.
ReplyDeleteBrett's demo has that saturated mids thing for sure, but playing a certain sequence of notes with Latin percussion backing track helps a lot too. It's good but maybe not as close as it seems. A fair facsimile, perhaps, but not as awful as CS's isolated current sound.
Yes it gets close to carlos. Don't judge it if you don't own one. That's just not normal
