So right off lets get to a basic. The only thing Rowin about this is thename. It is made by Mooer as the Mooer Blue Mood as are versions
for most of the 30 other brands that. They merely change the graphics, knobs and paint.It is Mooers take on a Boss Blues driver with a Keeley bass boost from Keeley's Super Phat pedal clone of the boss Blues Driver. The layout is volume, Tone and gain with a toggle to add a bass boost.

Much loved for years as the Blues Americana
alternative for a Tube Screamer. It has an
old school tube combo on 10 vibe. Pushed
past 2 o'clock it turns into Fuzz territory.
Politely put this Boss design tends to be dark,or to me muddy. But if its your thing the
Mooer/Rowin is damn near dead on the Boss.
What is your opinion about the IRIN BBD Flanger RS 08 (orange)?
ReplyDeleteI know of all the re-brand makers and although Joyo make the Irin larger pedals others that have 99% of the market like Caline, Moogoo (Mosky) , Mooer, and NUX do not. I traced the brand to Hong Kong via their L.A. USA office but nothing is in English or realistically translatable. I had my own interpreter for a few years but she returned to China. I have a friend in Taiwan who deals with all the major brands. He distributes to all the Asian countries with the pedals labeled special in the pictorial symbols used to write the language of the countries. I will send him an E but we will have to wait. I hate not knowing this sh@t, LOL. So unless someone does a video or 2 of the product I would say stay clear. Flangers are very hard to get right so you often find even big name companies not make one yet they have a Phaser, a Chorus. a Tremolo and a Vibrato pedal.
