A take on a Peavey amp. They do not say but I am fairly sure it is a Peavey Rage 158 practice amp. The layout is Pre amp volume with Treble, Mid and bass, then output level. A toggle goes from normal to a saturated compression.

               CONCLUSION ___ 

It has it's own thing going on and is in effect an old school hardrive distortion pedal. I expect old timers buy it to relive their youth. A hint of that is the company only make this one pedal and they have had a few years to do more than add T-shirts to their site, LOL. It sounds cool as a change. 

It could sub for using a Fuzz on a tune which 

would be our usual go-to.
