For decades when the Nashville crowd wanted some Outlaw country dirt on a tune they reached for their Nobel ODR-1. basically a Tube Screamer with the upper mid boost tamed, some added bass and a bit more gain. Lately companies like Wampler, Keeley and just this week Mythos brought out hot rodded versions. Yes ...with hot rodded prices. Nobels does do a $110.00 USD mini but maybe you can get the same thing via a clone.

It nails the sound!!! Yes if your whole sound is based 

around one or two pedals than by all means splurge. 

On the other hand for just a few tunes go no further.
