Gokko are a design company. They have been making electronic designs for the music industry since 1983. Originally for Italian companies, then French and now worldwide. 

Yes it was called the American Box but others had a copyright 

of the name. Too bad as it was accurate but high gain it is not. 

The pedal is a take on the old MESA Boogie amps of which the current model of them is the MARK VII. 

The layout is Volume, Gain, Bass, Mid and Treble.

Conclusion __

It definitely has that overdriven Fender Crunch 

of a Boogie amp. Most MESA Boogie amp users

team it up with an always on Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer set as a boost. It is an excellent just

before breakup sound. Great as even an always 

on for a clean sound. BUT? It needs a boost 

to get it into serious dirt.
