FUZZ- WOLF DEVICES Retro King ...unique ...no serious contender

It comes from Spain and it looks like a late 60's Transistor radio that came out of Japan at that time. It is however a single Germanium transistor Boost/Fuzz. The layout is Volume and Gain with a toggle to choose between more headroom or more saturation/compression. Another toggle lets you choose between two different transistors.

CONCLUSION ___
It is a low gain pedal that is very open and incredibly

warm and rich sounding. I have a similar pedal but

it is not as open or has the breadth this pedal imparts. Understated and brilliant.

Life of a Fuzz starts with an Electra or a Fuzz-Tone topography in 99% of all cases and goes from there :-) The thing is that this pedal is ridiculously mellow and calling the Electra harsh would not be an exaggeration :-)
