A comparison of 7 Dumble pedals. All are still in production and indeed others are always coming out with their 'Me-Too' models. I think what you pick really has nothing to do with authenticity to the amp. It is all about a personal application. If you have one guitar and one amp and no other OD's on your board than my guess is you will likely subconsciously pick the one with some punch. Keep in mind balz is a Marshall thing not a Dumble. If like me you want one for just using it for light crunch with a Strat then give the grandaddy of the Dumble pedal. The Zen Drive, a try. The Z-drive by DemonFX is only $30.00 USD, 100% part for part replica ...so WTF!!!

ReplyDeleteYes!!! most definitely. It does however sound very much like both of the J. Rockett Dumble pedals. If you are living Stateside it means at least a $100 saving maybe more without heavy shipping and duty costs to get the J. Rockett.
