This is a take on a Rat pedal. A stock Rat pedal is a tear your face treat.
Still these guy were not happy with that so they add switchable clipping diodes to take take an audio stormtrooper and turn it into an axe murderer. This is a classic 70's hard clipper OD
taken to it's extreme. It is definitely not a modern Metal pedal and is not trying to be. It is perfect for te guy who the tight control you cam not get with a Fuzz but wants the unbridled grinding
raw sound of a Fuzz.
CONCLUSION
Well in this age of that perfect Marshall-in-Box
it makes a great contrasting voice for those who want to stand out or a second OD to use stacked or on it;s own to terrorize the audience. LOL
