OVERDRIVE-EX-GEAR Krush OD ...Killer or Krap ???

$85.00 USD
 EX-GEAR KRUSH OVERDRIVE
These are the new kids on the block The layout gives you level, gain, treble, bass. presence and 'meat' which tightens the sound. These knobs iluminate. The base is magnetic to allow it to hold onto metal based pedal boards.

It sound is punchy and aggressive. Ex-Gear makes several OD's all a little different but all an interpretation of a modern gourmet type amp. None in particular but impressive just the same.
CONCLUSION
Having been around a long time I am a bit suspect of the company. The better pedals come mainly from small companies who build their pedals in off the shelf boxes.
If the boxes and bells whistles on the surface are this
custom there is usually a well known company behind it. Like Korg or Yamaha etc. The pedal market is oversaturated with makers. Including a lot of one man shows I think 1000 is not a crazy number. SO! One way to make such a great first impression and make it profitable would be to use lower end digital. Things like digital artifacts could go unnoticed and using modeled sounds on video demo's can sound impressive. Finally the online site only mentions features ...there are no specs.

On the plus side the pedals are relatively cheap and sound killer!
They are designed in the U.S. and Robert of Roberts Guitar Dungeon
who is highly respected in the Youtuber community feels they are the real deal?
