The pedal uses both Opamp and JFET tech so you can get
the tube type sound of a FET but can add as much growl,
snarl and bite as you like.
It is voiced as a medium gain OD which is a great spot to get great tone but it has so much level you can blast the sh@t out of your amps pre and push it into never never land if you like. lol
CONCLUSION
It is very fat and chunky but not warm. It comes off more like a hard clipper. You can pump it so hard it goes into Fuzz territory. It does it's own thing and does it well.
