AREA 51 ALIENIST VOICING BOOST
Using both germanium and silicon transistors they have created several voicings made by an inductor based resonant filter circuit. These make low gain boosts that actually change the sound of your amp.
These boosts are in an area just before breakup are slightly into it. 
Think of it as the sounds of amps from the Fender Tweed era that might have existed but made by companies unknown.
CONCLUSION
Not weird abstract sounds but a fresh idea that actually works. The sounds are reminiscent of old National, Gibson, Magnatone, Film-o-Sound, Klemt, Valco, McKinney and Harmony amps.
