MODULATION- GFI SYSTEM Sythestheia..a Synth pedal? NO! ...but

GFI SYSTEM SYNTHESIA DUAL MODULATION
$400.00 US
A digital multi modulation pedal with octaver and ADSR envelope filter follower etc. In short an octave pedal, auto-wah and a lot of pedals you can buy separately so you can create faux synth sounds. It is nicely put together into patches that you can tweak reasonably easy to get usable sounds. Bigger and better but nothing new.

Real guitar synthesizers are available but they have failed to catch on. I think it is because there is relatively little in analog synthesis which even though it is the most malleable that can  compete with the natural very complex sound of a guitar with a dirt pedal.
I believe players would buy into guitar synths if they were designed to simply double keyboard expressed synth sounds instead of following the nuance of a guitar string.  This is counter intuitive so it will not happen. Trust me on this one I once taught keyboard players how to program their Mini Moog back in the days before presets.

CONCLUSION
Personally I wouldn't bother. It is too expensive and the most useful parts can be had with a few pedals or spend a bit more for an all in one modeler pedal.
