OVERDRIVE- DIGITECH Hot Rod Rock Distortion ...not bad ! $35.00 USD even better!

$35.00 USD
 DIGITECH HOT ROD ROCK DISTORTION
Well this has been around for 11 years. It is still in production although it is not one of the pedals on the Digitech-Harmon/DOD sight. The factory in China where they are made however is licenced to sell them. This one is still available with English fonts but many only come in Chinese. Same pedals etc. but...
The big deal when it came out was DigiTech claimed it clones a Pro-Co Rat, a  Arbiter Fuzz Face and a Boss DS-1 Distortion
As some Brits might say nice pedal but you should not go around telling 'porkies'...or as many of us might say nice pedal but skip the the bull sh@t!

The layout is simple ...level, tone and gain. The Morph in actual use sweeps thru the mids.

CONCLUSION
It is a 70's old style hard cllpper distortion with enough punch and balz to earn it's keep. Digitech pedals are well made and some have been game changers like their Whammy pedals.
This a good work horse dirt pedal and at $35.00 USD if it didn't work out you can flip it.

I bought a Fuzz and a 90's style OD this week. I have 2 boards half done in my shop with
40 pedals to go on each. I also have another 30 something waiting to be Reverbed so I am not as tempted as might have been
