PUSHKING IRONFINGER DISTORTION
Is this really a state of the art pedal. It was designed by
Axel 'Ironfinger' Ritt of Grave Digger. He is virtually saying it is the BEST?
It's basic voice is not dissimilar to TC Electronics Fang.
In spite of all the blah blah it is virtually a Wampler EQuater quasi parametric EQ built into a good basic Metal pedal.
CONCLUSION
Well having a Parametric mids EQ is a very good deal for a $200.00 USD dirt pedal.
If you have a good Metal pedal you like you might consider getting the Wampler
or the Para EQ that Empress makes.
Brian Wampler did a video showing you what you could do with the Empress. He said he
picked it because it was 'there' 7 that there are many other to choose from. THERE ARE NOT! I tried to find one for my bass player and the Empress was IT. i think Brain was so impressed he made his own!!! they are equally good. The Empress was designed as a high end board EQ for the floor. the Wampler was aimed squarely at the guitarist.
both EQ' give you both hi mids and low mids separate. The Ironfinger just has the one mid.
BUT at the price i have no beef!!!
