Big Joe has been around a long time and this is an oldie goldie for them. The newer products are much more up to date in both features and sound. But this has always been a big seller for them.
A simple idea make a pedal with full tube saturation
or in other words full gain.
The controls are a straight forward Tone, Gain and Level.
There is switch labeled model which seem to go between full mids and upper mids. You can run it on 9v or 18v for more headroom.
You can add or pull back some highs but the gain starts just short of full by design so you get full out and can then push it to stupid. lol
It is basically a one trick pony ...but it's big fat creamy distortion is appealing.
It does have a good sound but for $20 more you can get the new JHS PG-14 that for sound alone covers this but does an awful lot more. I expect there are quite a few used ones around since it is 8 years old.
