Shades of a Brit pedal that reminds me of Marshall's sound when driven by a Coloursoud Overdriver or one of the many variations of the Solasound Tonebenders.
Dophix are in Florence Italy. They are always making something that is a bit out of the box. The David is a very cool idea for a dirt box.
The layout is a simple classic one with gain, level and tone.
The basic tone so nailed that it doesn't need more. You just
can not make this pedal sound bad!
A cool idea pulled off really well. The pedal has a lot of character.
It has a lot of petulant growl.
It is one of those pedals that can give you an identifiable sound. It makes a statement that can be pushed up front when called for but it is not always in your face.
