Is this a modern take on a Big Muff ??? NUX sells it as a Metal pedal I find it unusual for a Muff to have a 'Scoop control but some Metal pedals have a Scoop. It is a re-brand ...that's for sure!
The layout is Level, Gain, Scoop and Tone. There is a lot of gain and level. Even at the knobs set at 12 o'clock it will tear your face off. It has more balz then you could imagine.
The tone is very aggressive!
The guts may be modest but the casing is as good as most out there and the knobs are firm with a smooth sweep.
In short there is zero not to like!
In spite of the video that claims it is $17.00 USD on Amazon
I could not find that price. On AliExpress the price varies from about $18 to $20. Best bet is to count on $20.00 USD with free shipping!

So compare ...treated as a Fuzz it damn good.
Treated as a Metal Pedal it is even a better deal!!!!
Nothing comes close to this without deep pockets!!!

What can I say??? 
FUZZ OR METAL it is a steal !!!
First just let me tell you I had at least 
30 pedals from China thru Ali. They usually took weeks 
to arrive but they all did ...they worked fine 
Not even one of them failed after a couple of years use.
Soooo!!! 
It kicks butt and if you get tired 
of it you could sell it no time
for $20.00 USD used!

I took my own advise & bought one!
I have a Pro Tone Attack pedal on order. It is designed by taking a Tube Screamer circuit and modify it to over drive a Crunch channel on an amp to give you the perfect Metal Sound. I am sure if you Stack it on a dirt pedal the results will be similar. Stacking it in on this NUX Metal pedal should give me something in the 
ball park of a REVV G4. Cool!!!

Well it definitely can knock off a nice Wampler Pinnacle sound.

What doesn't show up very well on the vids is it's sustain ...it has a great sustain!

Definitely a total Steal at the price. I will get more use out of it then several pedals on my board that cost over $200.00 USD
