ELECTRONIC AUDIO EXPERIMENTS
|DUDE INCREDIBLE|
The pedal borrows its topography from the 1978 Intersound IVP Tube Preamp. Which was an early take on using transistors to imitate tubes primarily for studio work in a pre digital world. It is oddly paired with a take on the defunct Interfax Harmonic Percolator a rare and totally unique Fuzz that paired a germanium transistor with a silicon transistor at a time when players were moving from all germanium to all silicon Fuzz pedals. The layout is volume out, treble and bass. There is gain for the preamp side and 'harm' is an input level. A footswitch turns on each of the separate voices.
CONCLUSION
There is no arguing it is a not a new sound. It gets down to if it can not be covered by many other Fuzz pedals or Overdrives. I have many pedals if not identical can pitch for the same team and
win the same game.
