WREN & CUFF| EYE SEE '78 FUZZ

 

This has been a biggy for W&C for 7 years. The company claims to have the ultimate clone. The original is better known as the Smashing Pumpkins Muff.  The layout has the usual Muff Volume, Tone, and Gain. 

A toggle switch lets you take the tone stack out and you get a massive all frequencies wall of sound.

CONCLUSION

The re-issue by Electro-Harmonix is passable but this is  

fatter and has more balz. I especially love its grainy 

low end with a germanium like quality to it.
