Tom Cram single handedly ran the DOD part of DOD/Digitech factory while at the same time was the designer of all the new product. His version of the DOD 250 Pre is a contemporary classic. The Carcosa even has guys that collect the best vintage Fuzz pedals soon end up owning this one. It is a Fuzz that is truly both innovative, new and yet sounds great even to guys that the closest they
come to a Fuzz is a hardclipper OD.
If when you think a tune would be much better if you had a Tone Bender, a Big Muff a Rat or even Fuzzrite or a Rangemaster/Fuzz combination sound this Fuzz will substitute for those sounds with sounds equally as good even if a bit different.
At the same time you still have a pedal that has the same "cool'' factor.
Keep in mind it will cost $400.00 USD for a Rat, Muff and T Bender.
CONCLUSION
Just weeks ago DOD not only re-opened the DOD factory with all the original key people but even many of the former workers to continue
to produce all of the DOD pedals. None have been dumbed down or
even changed. For that matter even the prices are what
they were when it was shut down.

the fine print
Nothing lasts forever and many of us regret not scooping up a killer pedal that was defunct but cheap. Even this DOD was nearly gone forever. Now is the time to get it so when, and I guarantee it will be ...a collectors Fuzz. It is still made with all its original parts and even they will be replaced as the manufacturers' discontinue them to stay competitive to with customers that buy most of them for consumer products.
