This definitely not your grandad's dirt pedal. LOL
The old Orange OR120 amp had an incredibly
smooth dirt sound and a crushing low end!
Jason Johnston cloned every detail of the preamp right up to the phase inverter. Yes you can put it your amps effects loop and you will have a poor man's Orange. It works just fine on your board too.
The layout is simple with the much loved Bass then Treble and Gain.
The sound is massive!!!
It is Stoner, Doom, Sludge, Drone Metal heaven !!!
What I play is closer to Prog Rock then the gendres this is aimed at.
BUT I often use simple power chords with a sustain that lasts for several
bars and stacked with one of my Marshall style OD's this would have a
killer dramatic effect!! So guys think about! If you want your audience to
take notice ...this is it!!!
