OVERDRIVE-PETTY JOHN Gold OD MKII ...one of the best got better

$300.00 USD
PETTY JOHN GOLD OVERDRIVE MK II
Petty John has been around for years making high end pedals that are made with the very best of the best parts.

This is their take on a Marshall pedal that can do a Plexi to a JCM 800 right up to a JCM 900.
The layout is Level, Gain with active highs and lows and the mids are sweepable from 400 to 2k.
It uses a full 200 ma as the 9v are boosted on the inside for lots of headroom.

CONCLUSION
As accurate an interpretation of a Marshall as some may argue the pedal lacks balz, You can not get a heavy low end either.
if you want to go the pristine tone route them spend a hundred more and get an Origin Effects Revival Drive. It has everything this pedal has with almost endless ways to tailor your sound. Better yet you can get a 'take out the back wall' sound with the same unprecedented clarity in the low end clarity.
Still you can not deny the sear clarity and sweet mids of the Gold and a extra hundred is considerably more.

On the other hand check out the equally versatile Tech N Tone Nonna. It has a rich resonant tone with beautiful detail in the harmonics an equally impressive mid and is killer fat!!!
It is just $175.00 USD.

Even cooler there a 15% sale for SBS readers.
Go ahead and watch the videos of it.
It sells itself!!!! ...and the price is a steal!!!!
