CONCLUSION

If you see music as just a hobby and you will not ever be playing 

in a band context then sure get a Fender or go even further and get a gourmet amp. The way I see it when it comes to a hobby you have neighbours into boats or off road vehicles that they pays thousands for. So a couple of thousand is no big deal. If on the other hand you see playing in a band as part of your thing then save your money for a at least a 40 watt amp or you could drowned out by drummer. So in short for just a practice amp this is IT! A decent OD will take care dirt better than an amp for 3 times the price.
