This is an old school germanium OD/Fuzz that comes back and then vanishes again. Less with the demand for the pedal than the rarity and availability of the NOS stock vintage transistors.
Think of the tones on early Zep recordings
that seem to be nothing but old killer amps. Wrong! They had a lot of Tonebender Fuzz pedal derivatives and this is the antisis of them all.
CONCLUSION
A really nice light crunch, full and warm with a bit of growl on the low end. Perfect !!!
The kind of sound one got before the Tube Screamer came along with their plain vanilla OD and was politically incorrect not to use one. LOL
