Based around an early 50's EF86 a tube designed for high end audio it's main feature is a really low noise floor. So it was a great idea to use for a boost
as it is very quiet and transparent.
so it can act as a second channel pushing a tube amp into crunch or more.
CONCLUSION
Well made and for many styles this is the ideal answer ...especially for a lot of Fender amps.
considering the quality it is really a great price.
