TL AMPLIFIERS LITE 2020
There have been a few amps made aimed at be a good platform for pedals. None have been flat out bad but none have made the grade. I always saw the problem as simple. The amp has to have a great sound of its own. Critics in general agree that the best amp Fender ever made is the Deluxe Reverb. It is also one of the best pedal platforms you can buy. In fact there may be a handful of equal choices but they are simply not better.
Could it be improved. No and yes! It could be more compact and cheaper too. There is simply no need for a vibrato/tremolo or spring reverb. Many players already have pedals that cover reverbs etc.and most of us have an eye on them if we haven't yet got them.
TL pedals is about to come to the rescue with a single channel no frills amp based very tightly on a Deluxe.
What is a big comfort for me is I can buy it without that terrible feeling of will it be reliable or will I not like the sound.

CONCLUSION
Bullet proof choice!
I need not say more. The design has stood the test of time.
In fact 50 years!
Both with it's sound and reliability. No matter what the trend or
fad in amps has been there were always a guy to buy with
his ears not by what the media's current buzz on what the hot
new amp is.
Hell Fender even offers you two different model repro's the
1965 and 1968.
