Wrong! the bottom line is sounds damn good.
You can not but think of the old vintage Ibanez FL-9
hell if you must steal steal from the best. LOL
Getting a good sounding Flanger is not easy. Many pedal makers that appear to have all the modulation pedals in their line do not offer a Flanger!
I have bought and sold a few. I have the A/DA PBF now. It is an all bells and whistles pricey jobbie. But I use it fairly conventionally and for that I would stop right here!
A Flanger works a little different than other modulation pedals. the sweep starts then the signal feeds back into itself, stops then starts again. their is a delay before it starts that causes a drop out.
A shorter drop out does not mean better sound nor does pulling back the effect so your noise floor does not modulate it. The E-H Flanger has all these problems but is still the Flanger sound that others are judged by.
I hate everything about it but the sound and price!!!! LOL
Damn it though it has a killer sound, usable features and silly cheap
for a Pro sound!
