This is more than just an OD but it has variable gain so it can be used as a low gain, medium gain,or high gain pedal. It also has boost, and two gain stages with 3 way EQ. There is a second footswitch for the boost.
CONCLUSION
A very American sounding OD.
Not your typical Marshall-in-a-Box. Definitely a great Blues, Americana or Rock pedal. It sounds like a 70's type Hard Clipper pedal. Even if you prefer (like me) a FET type OD having both is a great idea and this one has it all!
