ENGL are all about Metal amps lately there attention has turned away from Stacks and like the whole world are bring out small wattage combos.The market for stacks has all but gone. Surprise! Surprise ! lol
Their Powerball OD has taken the route REVV and cloned the high gain channel of their
flag ship Powerball amp.
They have always had a few pedals like a ts
clone and a Fuzz that complimented a Metal player. So it is no surprise that their Fuzz is free of spit and splutter and more like a very aggressive
OD.
It definitely has a Big Muff vibe but it has a lot more sustain than the B.M. I am sure has found a
home pushing the front end of amps into overkill!
