KEELEY BLUES DISORDER
Nothing new except the Keeley factory has bought themselves some high end tech to make their own enclosures and to apply finishes, graphics and artwork. These days the equipment not only makes a better product but does it significantly cheaper. In the next 2 years I expect all the Keeley product
will get upgraded. If you have been keeping count of how many companies make a BB
then stop it, you don't have a life, LOLThe build quality is stellar and the price is a quiet game changer.
Other companies will get nervous at selling their next OD for over $200.The layout is Volume, Tone and Gain with 2 toggles that both give
it a Fulltone OCD vibe.
CONCLUSION ___Is it the best??? Well the original BB was never intended to be gourmet and what parts were used were not meant for space flight.
Those parts made it a bit quirky and gave it character. I always keep
in mind that a Stradivarius violin had a generous amount of sand in
the finish. No one will trade you even for a violin of carbon fiber with
titanium tuners. Why is that 😕???
ᐅ
Nothing wrong with buying a Sorta-Breaker as long as you know it is.
I have the Browne Amplification Carbon S.B. that gets the most use
of any dirt pedal on my board.I was looking for the most transparent Drive on the planet. One where
the dirt never took away a Strats chime and bell like tone on the attack.
The Keeley is very close to the Browne when backed off. It is is fuller
but the Browne is just a bit cleaner.
I am totally impressed with this Keeley!!!
You get 2 distinct quality pedals in one box!!
A very usable BB and OCD is lot of pedal for the buck!!!
