This is a reissue pedal that I did a review of in January. Today the Mythos Herculean Deluxe OD showed up. A very nice old school Blues Americana sounding pedal. In many ways a niche market. not one where anybody wants to be seen too often showing up at a small town bar with a modeler, lol.

The Mythos is a staggering WTF over $400 pedal.  It occurred to me that the reissued old DOD that although it is pushed for its high gain had a similar Americana vibe when it is pulled back. Fortunately I could count on an older Don Carr with a past where this sound was his everyday sound years back to give us a sample of the pedal pulled back.

CONCLUSION ___

Worth a thought??? A pedal made Stateside and it is all

there if you tune it in. Best of all at a 'Real World' price.
