Yes another Boss Blues Driver clone? In fact maybe even the Waza Craft version came in to help, lol. The layout is the

familiar level, gain and Tone but it has a Waza toggle, lol. 

 

CONCLUSION___ 

With even good ol' Robert Keeley jumping

in with more than one version, everyone is

hoping that the world wants something 

new or at least the resurrection of the 

best of the past.

The Blues Driver was reimagined by Steve Painter with his Buffalo Fx Carerra into a MIAB  kind of sound. Steve passed away of cancer. The pedal lives on.

NUX cloned the pedal and call it the NUX Plexi Crunch. Both pedals seem to be something special with a Tele bridge PU hitting them. That said I find  

if I want that sound with a Hummy the Blues Drive is just killer. On a final note PastFX now make the Canberra with both Steve Painters pedal but 

with a second voice that is tighter and brighter. It all goes to show a little bit of cloning with a fresh take can offer up a pedal where both an

original and a clone are both worth owning.
