As for the old is new the Sonicake mini pedal's are simply Mooer pedals rebranded with a different color of paint and new graphics. Some are from their current line of 75 pedals and others are discontinued as a Mooer offerings. This one is a discontinued.

The unit is a digital Bit crusher sampling rate reducer bass synth. 

 It works like old movie film. That film is an endless stream of separate pictures sent with enough of them moving by your eyes fast enough that you see a continuous moving image. A bit is a sound picture if you send many you can use it to make really detailed delays and verbs. If you send very few it would sound all f.ed up.

If you blend in a basic dirt sound like a Fuzz and a sub from an Octave pedal the combination gives you an interesting usable mess, lol.

The layout is BIT which adds the amount of the effect and a blend to mix a balance of your guitar and the effect and a switch with 3 bizarre but usable voices.  

CONCLUSION ___

It is like an exotic selection of 3 spices. 

Like most spices a little can go a long way. 

It is very usable. It is not just for the 

Star Wars soundtracks and Shoegaze 

guys. The price is right .
