A simple premise since both the Tube screamer and the Klon were both designed in the first place to take a Fender Combo or similar amps that did not have any or at minimum a serious crunch and provide one. On the whole they are still used more as a boost than an OD. They push an amp or are stacked on an Amp-in-a-Box for more gain. The design is a boost, going into a Tube Screamer/Klon with the layout of Bass, Treble, Gain and Level. A toggle controls the headroom and in one position mimics a BluesBreaker.

CONCLUSION ___

The pedal does what it intends very well. Many guys already have both a Klon and a ts or even a BlueBreaker so the idea is not new nor ideally better since they do not all function independently.

This is quality pedal so if it is your thing then WTF. For others?
