There is denying the quality of the Thorpy product. They are all about creating their own thing. So unsurprisingly this dirt pedal is not about creating Marshall-in-a-Box.
The pedal gives a choice of two stages of gain and it even gives you a bias control to smooth out the tone or
give it the heavy course rasp of some Fuzz pedals.
You definitely get a lot of variation of gain, tone and headroom. It definitely has it's own personality much like a Fuzz does ...you either love it or you will give it a pass.
CONCLUSION
I find it eccentric in a cool way. BIG but! I would love it as another optional sound but since it would not be a critical
addition to my rig it is just two pricey to add.
