OVERDRIVE- SKEDDY PEDALS Major Overdrive ...heavy saturation wall of sound vibe

SKEDDY PEDALS MAJOR OVERDRIVE
A simple set up of gain, tone and level. this pedal is voiced as a Marshall with a variac on it. No it does not have an EVH sound. It reminds me very much of the MI Effects Crunch Box though this pedal is much warmer sounding.

CONCLUSION
As usual Skeddy makes a great pedal. However at this price point
I would not hesitate to add another $30.00 USD and get a Sinvertek M5.
It is the pedal to beat these days and that is not going to happen soon.

UPDATE: Thanx to a reader that uses 'MC' as his tag I was reminded that this pedal is licensed to Animals Pedals in Japan who now sell it for $100.00 USD.

Thanx MC for the heads up... after writing over 1300 plus reviews I do from time to time forget this or that.It is even more confusing when different companies bring out a totally different pedal under the same name a good example is the Heartbreaker name. I have reviewed both versions of the Major.
You will note an update on this Post clarifying things.
