OVERDRIVE- MESA Dynaplex ...a 70's Plexi ...the first of 3 new 'cheaper' OD's

MESA
$200.00 USD
ENGINEERING DYNAPLEX
A new line of MESA pedals the first released is the Dynaplex. It is just a strait up late 70's Marshall Plexi.
Every OD pedal I have seen since C19 has the same $200.00 USD price tag. Once again is it what little money is around with a dash of compassion? These are strange times. A few months ago $225.00 USD would be the starting point and the right pedal with the right name could creep over $300.00 USD.
The layout is level, gain, presence and tone. There is an internal switch to boost or scoop the mids.
CONCLUSION
MESA simply do not make a bad pedal. This is no exception. Every year a few makers do one better, as good or as good but cheaper. There are a lot of good choices.
The Gold Mind has a late 80's JCM 800 and the Cleo has a
Fender Deluxe vibe. I am sure I will get  to them in a week or two
as yet there are no independent reviews. Just this video.
The SVR bit on the Cleo sounds like sh@t. It has a lot of shrill high end  ...and thin, thin, thin ?
