AMP- BLACKSTAR HT Club 40 MkII... Not to be ignored if you are a Fender guy!

BLACKSTAR HT 40
Yes these guys are escapees from working for Marshall and have focused on giving you a poor man's Marshall. It has been a very successful formula.  Is there a difference between a handmade and modern circuit board tube amp. Yes but they have to sit side by side in a quiet room to hear it. If you add distortion the lines are blurred even more!
Ok so I digress!
The HT 40 is their second shot at making a Fender amp. Wisely they chose 40 watts. Loud enough for a pro backline setup without the need of a mic. Loud enough to keep up with a loud drummer but not so loud that you have to turn down so low  you lose your tone!!!
They have carefully added and tweaked this amp to a well priced and great choice for the modern musician.

CONCLUSION
Impressive!!! at $800.00 USD it stands toe to toe with the Fender Hot Rod which I highly recommend.
